The event is a wrestling camp at The Fort Wrestling Facility, focused on ISWA Freestyle Greco State Prep, and is scheduled for Sunday, April 28th. It will be led by Coach Ben Guiles, who is notable as Michigan's Women's National Team Coach and a two-time Michigan Freestyle State Champion as well as a two-time Michigan State Placer. The camp's agenda is quite intensive and is structured as follows: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Intense Workouts and Drilling 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM: Lunch Break (provided by Fort) 12:45 PM to 2:45 PM: Intense Workouts and Drilling 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM: Break 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Live Wrestling The registration cost for the camp is $60. The camp emphasizes not just wrestling skills but also personal development, aligning with Coach Guiles' camp brand ethos: Good Wrestler Better Human.

70 All Americans Coached at Nebraska

Nebraska coach Mark Manning joins The Fort Wrestling Facility to for a day camp on May 11, 2024. Coach Manning has coached over 70 All-Americans. The schedule includes three sessions focusing on technique and live/situational wrestling. The first session runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a lunch break, then the second session from 12:45 PM to 2:45 PM, a break, and the final session from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The cost of the camp is $60.00, which includes lunch. Coach Mark Manning comes with an impressive career record: a 305-129-5 career dual record over 26 years, a 282-105-3 dual record at Nebraska over 23 years, and he has coached 70 All-Americans at Nebraska. His achievements include leading five wrestlers, including four Huskers, to individual national titles, 12 Top-10 NCAA team finishes at Nebraska, and several prestigious coaching awards such as the Terry McCann Award, the USA Wrestling Freestyle Coach of the Year, and the Dan Gable Coach of the Year.

Coach Latora is a leg ride specialist. In his senior year alone (1982), he amassed 98 3-point near falls and 49 2-point near falls in only 40 matches. Tony was fortunate to be exposed to great coaches throughout his career and has incorporated an extensive array of techniques from various sources. Tony was a two time MHSAA State champion in 1981-82 with a record of 83-0 in those years. He was also a 4 year starter at the University of Michigan. Sons, Angelo Latora and Dominic Latora are excellent clinicians with solid credentials on the map but more importantly for you; the aspiring wrestler, they know how to help you succeed. They have worked with many wrestlers across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Florida and beyond that swear by the approach to teaching the sport and their proficiency in educating wrestlers of all sizes, ages and abilities. Assistant Coaches supporting the camp series throughout the season are also top notch wrestlers that are getting results at the highest levels of our sport. Leg Camp graduates have earned several All State Honors across the Midwest. The Leg Ride Series that the Latoras will cover is virtually unstoppable. Riding legs generates points and will allow one to dominate at any level. Join us and learn this dominant series from proven winners in a unique format that allows wrestlers of all skill and experience levels to improve their performance in the top position. 10:00am - 2:00pm
